This is all about my main obsession FOOD. Good healthy, hopeful, wholesome food that makes you feel like a Goddess (or God) after you have eaten it. It’s also because I can’t eat wheat and dairy which means that eating has become a ‘fun’ challenge. I also don’t lie with the whole just replacing the missing things with loads of chemical-y ingredients. I just want to use natural ingredients that expire this Millenium. And because I am a little bit nuts and as we all know processed foods do absolutely nothing for the slightly unhinged among us. It’s also going to be a little bit about trying to deal with the trials and tribulations of being twenty years old and being slightly cracked.

I also have a confession to make. I am a chef. Just a baby one. A very, very lowly-just-starting-out-not-very-good-chef. This would lead people to the conclusion that I revel in the joys of exotic food everyday. This is about as far from the truth as you could get. Little known fact is that most chefs don’t cook at home, admittedly when it comes to big deal occasions we can produce a meal that would make Babeth’s feast pale in comparison, but on the daily the majority of chefs live off koka noodle and take away. Now obviously as I can’t (and don’t particularly want to) eat take away I had to come up with some viable solutions. That is why most of the dishes that I will be posting here can be made in under fifteen minutes. Because that is how I roll.
